Yes we are headed towards a year of Covid. Although there is a timetable of hope in sight, the fragility is still ever present. In form of spread increasing upon restriction easing or newer variants resistant to everything learned to treat and prevent so far. How we will leave this current stale mate only coming months will reveal. In the meantime, I present you some super sized version of my thoughts. 12 reflections from 12 highly unprecedented months.

1. Everyone has a creative side. Mine exploded and flourished at home.
2. It’s shocking how little one needs to get by in life.
3. Reading is an enriching and healing experience that I didn’t appreciate fully until the thick of lockdown 1.0.
4. If you put your mind to it you can do anything. Even run or write a book.
5. We all miss what we don’t have right now. I miss the city but my city friends miss the country. All we are looking for is escape from monotony.
6. You don’t know how fragile life is until you hear about healthy functioning humans succumb to Covid and lose their lives.
7. Little music and free styling with watercolours gets rid of anxious thoughts.
8. Walking in nature is so so restorative. It should be prescriptive.
9. Just because you are staying at home doesn’t mean that you won’t make new friends or connections.
10. Slowing down can bring clarity and transformation.
11. Nurturing your intuitive calling will make you stronger and grounded.
12. It was not the year I had hoped for but a year I needed.

I need to be alone for a certain period of time otherwise I violate my own rhythm.
